I would 100% recommend the Wilkinson group. The workmanship is excellent, with attention to every detail. Brennan discussed every aspect of the project with us. They also had really good ideas too. Communication was amazing, considering there were many trades to coordinate. I have done many house renovations in the UK, but none like this in another country where I couldn’t visit regularly. I felt completely comfortable because Brennan called and messaged regularly to keep us updated. Having worked in project management, being kept up to date is a rare and an amazing quality!

I would start by saying that we required a large amount of work to be done and that we would be in the UK whilst the work was being done; it was therefore paramount that we had trust in the firm doing the work as they would be required to manage the project.

From the very initial meeting with Brennan and Tom we felt that we could trust the Wilkinson Group. Brennan and Tom listened to us regarding the work we wanted done, making comprehensive notes and offering solutions to possible problems that might occur during the project. Before we returned to the UK we were given a fully itemised list of the works that were to be done along with the quotation. We were happy to return to the UK knowing that the Wilkinson Group would be completing our 12 week project of works.

Once back in the UK we had a Whatsapp Group set up where photos of the work being done were sent to us as well as having a weekly catch up call with Brennan and Tom to discuss how things were progressing. We were kept fully informed throughout the project, that gave us confidence and reinforced the trust in the Wilkinson Group that the work would be done on time and within the quoted cost, which it was.

One of our main concerns during works was that there would be considerable noise involved and we did not wish to upset our neighbours - we live in a small street with neighbours predominantly older than my husband and I. I cannot stress enough the thought and consideration that Brennan and Tom gave to our neighbours during the time they were undertaking our project, which made things so much easier for us when we returned. They become legends in our street due to their work ethic! Our neighbours took to cooking for them and they have gone on to carry out work for our neighbours as well. We couldn't have asked or wished for more.

If you are looking for work to be done on your home, particularly if you aren't going to be there when the work is undertaken, then I would highly recommend the Wilkinson Group.

We, in the past, have used other builders/handymen and all have left us with bitter taste in our mouths. It was seeing Bren and Tom working on a neighbour's house that caused us to ask them to give us a qoute on some work in our house. What we noticed was not only the workmanship but the courtesy and care they afforded the property and owners of the house. We will be having more work done i the future...Guess who we will be asking
